Villa España arrives in Manchester

Thursday 15th September saw the official opening of Villa España Manchester by renowned Chef, Antony Worrall Thompson. Villa España is now one of the North West’s largest Spanish property show rooms and also acts as an agent for Polaris World.

Antony has a property himself on the Costa del Sol so was approached to open the new showroom as an ambassador for the area. Antony’s love for the Mijas area was more than evident as he entertained the guests with accounts of the great food and lifestyle he has enjoyed on his frequent visits. Guests stayed on into the late evening enjoying authentic Spanish cuisine, good company and of course some of Spain’s fabulous wines.

“Buying in Spain is very much about life style” commented Phillip Nuttall, (Managing Director), “Spain is famous for its food, wine and congenial atmosphere. To reflect this, we have also decided to mark our move to the North West by sponsoring this year's Manchester Food & Drink Festival, next month.”

Phillip and his Spanish wife Antonia launched Villa España in 1995 when their first office was opened in Spain. Since then they have gained a reputation for not simply the high standard of new and resale properties they have available, but also the high degree of trust in the service which they offer. “A substantial part of our business is through referral. The experience of our clients is our best reference, and this has been earned through the very strong post-sale aspect of our business” says Phillip. “Although potentially very profitable, buying a Spanish property is a significant investment. The laws that surround property and finance in Spain are very different to the UK. With our assistance we aim to make the process of finding the right property and completing the sale as straight forward as possible.”
